Some 500 delegates are gathering in St. John’s over the next three days for NAPE’s 25th biennial convention.
NAPE represents nearly 30,000 workers in both the public and private sectors.
The convention gets underway tomorrow morning at the Delta with an opening address by President Jerry Earle. A panel discussion is set for tomorrow afternoon followed by an address by Secretary-Treasurer Trevor King on Friday.
Among the items up for discussion will be setting out a strategy for the next two years.
