Almost $60,000 dollars was raised for the Discovery Health Care Foundation through a radiothon on 710 VOCM.
$59,824 dollars was raised to support medical facilities in the Clarenville and Bonavista areas, with 96 communities serviced in the catchment area.
New medical equipment including Tono-Pen devices to test pressure on the eye, vein viewing systems, and new stretchers will be purchased with the money.
