Peacekeepers Way is once again open to traffic following work to replace culverts on the highway.
Crews removed some 16,000 cubic metres of gravel, rock and soil to replace the existing culverts with new, much bigger culverts.
Project Superintendent Tim Greeley with Eric Taylor Limited say they would not have been able to finish the work ahead of schedule without the help of Platinum Construction, their partners on the project, and many more subcontractors who dropped their own work to help out.
The road was opened to drivers in time for yesterday’s afternoon commute, ahead of today’s scheduled re-opening.
