Six local artists have been nominated for the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Awards to take place in St. John’s.
Paige Penney and Abigale have each been nominated in the Young Performer of the Year category, while Paul Pike and Aaron Collis have each been nominated for Instrumental Solo Artist of the Year.
The Swinging Belles’ album, Welcome to the Flea Circus has been nominated for Children’s Album of the Year and Youngtree & The Blooms have a nod in the New/Emerging Arts of the Year category.
The awards ceremony takes place in St. John’s April 4th to the 7th.
