The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking information from the public following a hit and run in St. John’s on Wednesday.
The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m. They say a vehicle collided with a bike at the intersection of Bonaventure Avenue and Empire Avenue.
The man who was riding the bike was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The vehicle is described as a Grey Mazda 3 with a trunk spoiler, and a male driver.
The RNC say the driver is believed to have continued onto Empire Avenue, then north on Mayor Avenue and made a left turn onto a side street travelling west.
Police are seeking any information or video footage from between 6:10 to 6:25 Wednesday evening in the areas of Carpasian Road, Empire Avenue, Mayor Avenue, Whiteway Street, Pine Bud Place and Elizabeth Avenue.
