Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador is beginning a Youth Apprenticeship Summer Employment Program.
This is National Skilled Trades and Technology week.
The program, done in partnership with the province, will provide grade 10 and 11 students the opportunity to work in seven-week summer placements in in-demand trade careers.
Participants will rack up hours towards their apprenticeships and be presented with professional development, peer networking and industry tour opportunities.
