The Bay d’Espoir Highway on the south coast has partially reopened following a potentially volatile situation yesterday.
A tractor trailer carrying flammable goods caught fire at the Pools Cove Junction.
However, the fire was extinguished and the highway is now open to one lane of traffic.
UPDATE: One lane of traffic is now open on Route 360, The Baie d’Espoir Highway, at Pool’s Cove Junction. Traffic is slow moving and drivers can anticipate delays to continue. #nltraffic
