Montreal Canadiens forward Alex Newhook is being evaluated today after being injured in last night’s loss to Florida.

Newhook had to be helped off the ice after suffering an injury to the lower body. It is not yet known if he will be out of action.

Newy has seven goals on the season thus far.

The Habs play the Red Wings tomorrow night.
