Helmets are no longer required for drivers or passengers in off-road vehicles on Labrador Inuit Lands.
Nunatsiavut recently enacted the law that only applies during ATV and snowmobile use within Inuit Community Boundaries or certain lands.
Though not required, helmet use will continue to be encouraged.
