A Harvey’s Oil delivery truck had an accidental discharge of oil on Forbes Street in the west end of St. John’s during a routine delivery over the supper hour yesterday.
The driver actioned the company’s emergency response plan and notified first responders. Harvey’s dispatched a crew to help with containment and cleanup.
The cleanup is ongoing and Harvey’s says it is working with authorities to ensure that the situation is properly mediated.
