School board officials say it was out of an abundance of caution that Villanova Junior High in Conception Bay South was put into lockdown mode this morning.
School administration initiated the lockdown after receiving reports of a potential threat or danger at the rear of the school building around 10:10 a.m. this morning.
The RNC were called, and soon after officials determined there was no imminent threat to the students, or the school.
The lockdown was lifted around 10:40 a.m. this morning.
