The Liberal party has announced their call for nominations in the Conception Bay East-Bell Island by-election.
Nominations are open until next Tuesday at 4 p.m.
It has been heavily hinted that former broadcaster, now advisor to the Premier, Fred Hutton will be putting his name forward.
Both opposition parties have their candidates in place.
Last week the PCs announced Portugal-Cove St. Phillips town councilor Tina Neary as their candidate, while deaf rights advocate Kim Churchill will be running for the NDP.
