First responders in many areas including metro have been busy the past while with accidents in the region.

Roads are not in great condition with snow last night and again today, combined with high winds. The snow will move off this afternoon but winds will remain high through the evening.

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department responded to a total of nine car accidents in metro yesterday and last night, an unusually high number. There were injuries in all nine incidents.

People should drive accordingly.
