The new owners of the Come By Chance refinery are releasing few details regarding “a workplace matter” at the facility.

Multiple sources tell VOCM News that six supervisors have been suspended following allegations of harassment involving another supervisor.

In a statement to VOCM News, Braya Renewable Fuels confirmed an investigation is underway.

“Braya will take all appropriate steps to ensure that we meet our commitment to fostering a safe and respectful workplace for all our employees,” reads the statement, attributed to refinery manager Paul Burton.

VOCM News has also requested comment from the union at the refinery.

Braya is in the process of converting the oil refinery to a renewable diesel facility.
