The MHA for Topsail-Paradise is calling a recent meeting with Education Minister Krista Lynn Howell on the need for a high school in Paradise a positive one.

Dinn says there was consensus on the “definite need for a high school in Paradise” and claims that the minister indicated that she is picking up what residents are putting down following a presentation by the Paradise Needs a High School Committee.

Chair Erin Furlong says they are now focused on making a budget submission before the December 15 deadline and they’re asking area residents to go online and complete the budget survey for next year’s budget.
