A Robert’s Arm man is facing numerous charges following what’s being described as a violent incident in the town on Monday.
The RCMP say they were first called shortly before 10 p.m. following reports of an incident earlier in the evening.
Twenty-seven-year-old Nicholas Hewlett is accused of allegedly assaulting one person, threatening another, and attempting to run another vehicle off the road.
Hewlett was arrested Thursday and, after a court appearance yesterday, has been remanded into custody.
He’ll appear in court again on Monday to answer to charges of overcoming resistance (choking), three counts of assault, two counts of uttering threats, dangerous operation, and failing to comply with a release order.
