The Port of Argentia has made a major donation towards cancer care at the Placentia Health Centre.
A $10,000 cheque was presented to the Trinity Conception Placentia Health Foundation towards upgrades at the chemotherapy treatment room.
The funds will allow for the purchase of new equipment such as a chemo treatment chair, blanket warmer, and other upgrades.
