COVID-19 has claimed another life in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The latest update to the province’s respiratory illness dashboard covers the reporting period from December 3-9.
There has been one new death reported, and fifteen new hospitalizations, with two people admitted to ICU.
There have been 118 new confirmed cases—a slight decrease since the dashboard was last updated in November.
Confirmed cases of influenza are up, with 66 new cases reported. No deaths have been reported, but fourteen people have been hospitalized, with five in critical care.
