A man has been arrested and charged following a stabbing in downtown St. John’s last week.
The RNC were first called to a home on Ricketts Road just before noon last Wednesday where they found a woman with serious injuries.
She remains in hospital.
Police say 36-year-old William John Oliver was arrested at the home for his alleged involvement in the incident.
He has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and breach of probation.
He was held for court.
