St. John’s Ward Councillor Ian Froude has announced that he is stepping down.
In a release issued today, Froude says he is no longer motivated to serve the role in the way it should be done and says he has other opportunities he wants to pursue.
Froude says he’s leaving effective this Friday, December 22 so that he has more “emotional, mental and physical energy to spend” with his family and to build his business.
Froude was unchallenged in Ward 4 during the last municipal election and was acclaimed.
