A man is in custody after some bizarre behaviour in St. John’s last night.
He was standing on top of a vehicle which was stopped in traffic, and began kicking in the windshield.
The incident happened at about 8:30 in the area of Lemarchant Road and Fort Townshend.
As RNC officers approached, the man fled on foot. He was located a short time later behind a residence on Lemarchant Road, but he declined to give police his name.
He faces charges of assault and damage to property and will appear today.
