The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has launched an investigation into the death of an inmate at HMP earlier this month.
Thirty-five-year-old Seamus Flynn died after being transported from the jail to hospital on December 2.
The RNC will be looking into the circumstances that lead to Flynn’s death, and is working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on the file.
