A 48-year-old Gander man has been arrested and charged following an unusual incident at Edgewood Park Manor Apartments in the airport town.
RCMP were called after someone sprayed bear spray in the apartment complex Monday afternoon. There were no injuries.
Keith Ledrew was arrested on the scene on weapons-related offences.
The investigation led to search warrants at Ledrew’s apartment and vehicle. A number of items were seized
Ledrew is facing a number of charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of stolen property.
