The price of most fuels is up slightly in the majority of Labrador.
The Public Utilities Board says the new price schedule, which took effect today, better reflects the cost of supply given recent deliveries.
Carbon price adjustments on the island portion of the province came into effect in July.
Today’s price adjustments affect three regions of Labrador: The Straits to Red Bay, Labrador South to Lodge Bay/Cartwright, and coastal Labrador. Prices for diesel, gasoline and stove oil go up by between roughly 4 and 5 cents in most cases.
