The provincial government is now accepting applications from operators interested in offering ride sharing services in the province.

The province updated taxi regulations in the last sitting of the House of Assembly to finally pave the way for ride sharing in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Any provider will be required to follow the same provincial rules and safety standards as taxi services in order to operate.
