High water levels have forced the closure of the Rushy Pond Brook Bridge on the Trans Canada just west of Grand Falls-Windsor.
Traffic is being diverted to the adjacent newly constructed bridge which is opening today.
This week the town of Grand Falls-Windsor closed the Gorge Park due to high water levels on the Exploits River.
