The provincial government is putting up funding towards a program utilizing artificial intelligence in health care.
Over $550,000 is being put into the development of SiftMed, a platform that will use a combination of AI and machine learning to assess health issues and identify potential health risks.
The St. John’s-based company will use the funding to develop the program over a 13-month research period.
