Basketball season is almost upon us, and the head coach of the Newfoundland Rogues says there’s a lot of interest from players coming to Newfoundland.
Jerry Williams has been busy with the recruiting process ahead of opening night tipoff on January 19.
Williams says he has received a lot of interest from players.
He says he has had many good players, who have won championships for other organizations, reach out. Williams says that says something about the island because people want to be here.
