One of the main crosstown thoroughfares in St. John’s has reopened. Elizabeth Avenue, which had been torn up since the summer, is now fully operational after months of detours.
The city added a shared-use path on the university side from Allandale to Westerland Road. The next phase, to be done this year, will seed the non-motorized strip extended from Westerland to St. James United Church.
