Police in St. John’s are investigating the sudden death of a man in the capital city last night.
RNC officers responded to the call shortly before 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
They say they were dispatched to a home in the west end of the city where they located a 40-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The RNC’s Major Crime Unit is working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to confirm the cause of death, but police say there is no concern for public safety.
Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to call the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
