One of the ways in which government should be addressing health care challenges into the new year is to offer health care students full time employment.
That’s according to PC leader Tony Wakeham, who believes that should be done while students are in their program, not as their exiting the program.
He says he recently attended a nursing fundraiser in Corner Brook, and while there he asked two third year students if they had been offered a full time job yet. Their answer was no.
