The NDP say they’ll be ready should a general provincial election be called in 2024.

Rumours persist that an election is in the offing in the new year, though nothing has been definitively confirmed or denied by the Premier on that front.

While NDP leader Jim Dinn says the party will be ready, he doesn’t believe an election would be the appropriate way to go.

With all of the problems facing the province today, Dinn would like to see government live out its full mandate and wait until 2025.
