The Town of Stephenville is looking to expand their housing options in hopes of an upcoming economic boom thanks to the green energy industry.
Stephenville mayor Tom Rose expects the town’s population to jump by thousands if the proposed wind-hydrogen development is established.
Rose says plans are already in the works to boost housing options and create new developments.
He says the planning process is well underway. They’re preparing to open up new sections of land for affordable housing, tiny homes, single family dwellings, and commercial units.
