A man and a woman have been arrested after being spotted by police running from a business which had just been broken into in St. John’s.

The incident happened at about 9:00 last night at a business in the west end.

The 31-year-old man and 30-year-old woman have been charged with stealing merchandise from the business and will appear in court today. The woman was also found to have two warrants against her.

The RNC also made an arrest in a separate incident involving a business in the centre city. Officers found a 33-year old man inside a business in the centre city yesterday afternoon, and charged him with causing damage to the building. He was released to appear later.
