Three people are facing charges following a drug bust in central Newfoundland that netted $100,000 in cash and more than 1 kg of cocaine.
Two Grand Falls-Windsor residents, 51-year-old Bonnie Tucker and 27-year-old Blake Tucker, were arrested along with 21-year-old Brady Benson of Bishop’s Falls.
The arrests came following the search of a home on Peddle Drive in Grand Falls-Windsor. Police seized cash, cocaine, a quantity of methamphetamine, oxycodone, hydromorphone and various other controlled substances.
A shotgun, ammunition and thousands of unstamped contraband cigarettes were also located during the search.
The trio are each facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of unstamped tobacco. Brady Benson faces an additional charge of resisting arrest.
The investigation continues and more charges are expected.
