Midnight tonight is the final deadline to purchase tickets for the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association’s Ultimate Dream Home Lottery.
Terry Martin, Director of Fund Development with the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association – NL, says that this year’s grand prize is a luxurious “dream home” located at 196 Cheeseman Drive in Southlands with a market value just shy of $800,000.
The Dream Home comes complete with a fully-furnished and decorated home theatre.
The Ultimate 50/50 Extra total is currently more than $800,000, with the hope of growing to over one million by the midnight deadline.
Martin says lotteries, like the Ultimate Dream Home Lottery, are the most important element of their fundraising activities.
He says that without these campaigns, they couldn’t carry out their crucial work in assisting those dealing with hearing loss and the resultant isolation at home, in the workplace, and in relationships.
Funds raised go directly towards the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association – Newfoundland and Labrador.
To get your tickets, you can call or go online by midnight tonight.
Tickets, which are $25 each, are available online at ultimatedreamhomelottery.com or by phone at 1-844-240-2946.
