RNC officers had to embark on an adventure in order to find two men in a vehicle which took off as police flashed the lights.

The incident, which unfolded at about 8 p.m. last night, saw two men in the car taking off on foot after their vehicle plowed into a snowbank on Torbay Road in St. John’s.

Police caught up with both of them with help from K-9.

A 44-year-old man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime and breaching court orders. A 60-year-old, who was driving, faces similar charges but also flight from police, resisting arrest and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Both men were held for court.
