The RCMP has publicly released video surveillance footage as part of its ongoing investigation into an assault in Stephenville on December 12.

The assault occurred around 2:30 in the afternoon in the area of Duchess Drive and St. Stephen’s Street in Stephenville.

A complaint made to police indicated that a man in a black Honda Civic left the vehicle and assaulted a cyclist. The suspect is described as between 16 and his early 20s.

Anyone who can identify the man captured in the video is asked to contact Bay St. George RCMP at 643-2118 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
