Friday’s winter storm has left residents in the Town of Victoria without drinking water.
Substantial snowfall, ice and high winds have blocked the town’s water intake system. The town says crews have tried everything they could but the issue is something only Mother Nature can fix.
The volunteer fire department has been making deliveries of non-drinking water to households in the community. They also opened their station on Sunday evening for residents to pick up clean drinking water.
It is unclear when the issue will be resolved.
