Metro police tried to stop a vehicle on Columbus Drive in St. John’s last night but the driver chose instead to hit the gas.
RNC caught up with the 17-year-old boy just after midnight and charged him with dangerous operation of a vehicle and flight from police. He was also ticketed for driving without insurance, operating an unregistered vehicle, and failing to transfer ownership.
The teenager was held for court today.
