Let it be a lesson on the importance of clearing the top of your vehicle of ice and snow, regardless of how big the vehicle might be.
Bay Roberts RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a commercial vehicle and its driver after damage was caused to a pickup truck by ice and snow that flew off the top of the larger vehicle.
Police say the snow caused damage to the windshield, bonnet and roof of the pickup, but the driver was not injured.
The incident occurred around 4:30 on Monday on the Veterans Memorial Highway, and the commercial vehicle drove off without stopping.
