The RNC has launched a new recruitment drive to attract people to its Cadet Training Program.
The ‘Find Your Purpose’ campaign includes video and photo elements of current serving members—putting a human face on policing and some of the challenges and misconceptions of the job.
Members of the Recruiting Outreach Team are fanning out across the province, visiting high schools and meeting with post-secondary students.
Seventeen recruit constables joined the RNC in 2023 with seven new officers sworn-in as members of the Constabulary.
The Atlantic Police Academy will start taking successful RNC recruitment candidates in January of 2025 for a 36 week course.
