RCMP in Sheshatshiu are turning to the public to identify a person who they believe may have information on a suspicious fire in the town in November.
Police, and firefighters from both Sheshatshiu and North West River were called to a structure fire on Peenamin Drive shortly after 9:00 p.m. on November 14.
The fire was determined to have been deliberately set.
Security footage showed a person near the scene. Although the images are poor, police are hoping that someone may be able to identify the person caught on camera who is carrying what is believed to be a ‘Puma’ brand backpack.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sheshatshiu RCMP at 709-497-8700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
