Driving conditions are compromised in many areas of the province today after a moderate snowfall. Visibility is reduced in high winds, and some schools outside metro are either closed for the morning or have delayed openings.

A weather related outage is affecting over 600 Newfoundland Power customers in the Stephenville – Port aux Basques area. Crews are on site, and power should be restored in McDougalls, Searston and St. Andrews by 10:30 a.m.
