The cleanup of nearly 23,000 litres of spilled fuel on the Trans Canada near Whitbourne continues.
Oil flooded the highways like a river after an oil tanker and passenger bus collided in an early morning accident over a week ago.
Service NL says nearly half of the oil has been cleaned up to date.
The company involved in the crash, RST Transport, is responsible for cleaning up the spill and has hired an environmental consultant to assist with the process.
