A report conducted by the province’s Child Death Review Committee and forwarded to the Department of Justice in November, has been forwarded to the Child and Youth Advocate.
The committee won’t reveal the details of the event that led to their report, but recommended that the Child and Youth advocate determine whether further action is required by her office.
The Department of Justice is required to publicly release any recommendations made within 60 days of receiving a report from the Child Death Review Committee.
