The historic Glynmill Inn in Corner Brook is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary.
The inn officially opened on June 30, 1924.
The Tudor-style building, designed by Andrew Cobb and built in 1923, served as a living quarters for senior staff as the Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Mill was being established.
When the paper mill started operating in 1924, the staff quarters were turned into a hotel.
The Glynmill was designated as a Registered Heritage Structure in 2001.
A series of centennial celebration events are planned throughout the course of the year.
