The TCH east of Arnold’s Cove has reopened following a two vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon.
Traffic was backed up in both directions as first responders closed the highway for several hours to attend to the scene.
There is no word on any injuries.
Police are asking the public to drive carefully in the area as road conditions are slippery.

Traffic is at a standstill on the Trans Canada east of Arnold’s Cove this afternoon due to an accident.
RCMP say both lanes on the highway in that area are closed due to a two vehicle collision. Drivers are asked to find an alternate route.
