Advance polling is open for the by-election in Conception Bay East-Bell Island.
Three locations are open for voting: Avalon Karate Club, The Royal Canadian Legion in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s and St. Michael’s Parish on Bell Island.
The polls are open between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Today is the deadline to apply for special ballots in the by-election in Conception Bay East Bell Island and to be added to the Voters List.
The by-election has been set to fill the vacancy left after long-time MHA David Brazil stepped down.
Byelection day is next Monday, January 29.
Four people are running to represent the district.
