The RNC are continuing an investigation into multiple reports of violent incidents involving young people in Mount Pearl.
Police say they have received numerous reports in the last week, resulting in several arrests of underage teens.
Police say the offenses involved a number of young people attacking other unsuspecting teens.
In some cases, the victims suffered what police are calling significant, but not life-threatening, physical injuries.
The incidents have shaken the community, and Mount Pearl Mayor Dave Aker is asking residents to speak with their children and report any potential dangerous behavior to police.
Charges such as possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault causing bodily harm, robbery, assault and uttering threats are pending.
